How to Add an Ad-Hoc Visit
An ad-hoc visit in domiciliary care refers to an unscheduled or one-off care visit arranged to address a client's immediate or unexpected needs. To create one :
1. Go to Rota Section
2. Navigate to the People tab and use the search bar at the top to find the required person.
3. On that person’s rota, either click directly on the rota calendar, or go to the Actions button at the bottom-right of the page and select Add Ad-Hoc Visit to open the pop-up.
4. You can select an existing CSA to pre-populate the visit with default values, or click Next to create a blank ad-hoc visit and enter the details manually.
5. Select the staff member(s) to assign to this ad-hoc visit.
6. Once all details are reviewed, click Save to publish the visit onto the rota.
📝 Ad-hoc visits allow you to quickly schedule additional visits outside of the regular rota.
