How to provide access to the family portal?

To grant a contact access to the family portal in OneCare Platform, locate the individual in the People section, add or update their contact details—ensuring an email address is provided—and invite them to the system. Once they’ve set their password via the invitation email, they can log in and view completed visits and tasks, supporting secure and effective family engagement in care activities.

1. Go to the People section.

2. Search for and select the individual whose contact you wish to grant access to the family portal.

3. Click on their name, then open the Care Circle tab.

4. Choose the relevant contact type—personal, professional, or other.

5. Click the Add Contact button in the top right corner.

6. Enter the required details for the contact, ensuring you include their email address.

7. Save the contact details.

8. Click the three dots next to the contact and select Invite Contact to the System.

9. The contact will receive an email from OneCare Platform with instructions to set up their password.

10. Once their password is set, they can log in using their email address and password.

They will then be able to view completed visits and tasks.
